On the outside it would appear that nothing much productive happened this week. I travelled to Kingman for a few days to lead a group through the Body Mind Spirit Challenge and it was postponed. That will cost me more time and money, oh well. Rather than force stuff I want to do forward it seemed to make more sense to take a few steps back. Everything that happens is synchronized with everything else that is happening so to continue to do the work in a state of peace and surrender often requires doing nothing at all for periods of time to allow for conditions to become more appropriate. It gave me time to meditate and get blissed in the present moment. In the present moment, no suffering is possible. Suffering happens when our minds create stories about what happened in the past or what we want to see happen in the future. When we are radically present then everything is as it is, without needing commentary. So there were some moments this week experienced of radical presence. In these moments I could literally feel an energy coursing throughout the body accompanied by feelings of bliss. On the drive back to Sedona from Kingman I stopped in downtown Flagstaff for a few hours. When I stopped to get my bearing and looked up at the street sign, of course I was on San Francisco Street. I walked a block to the town square where I noticed this cute little girl Riley dancing with complete joy to a fiddler. The joy she experienced affected everyone around her and made their day better. I know she made my day even brighter. I had the pleasure of capturing the moment.
